Another year that Paul Bunyan's Axe is kept in Madison. Badgers offense again took to long to get going, but both White and Ball had over 150 yards and a total of 5 touchdowns.

UW vs. Illinois
This may become the worst post ever. It was too cold for early October, and this year's team is still under performing. Fortunately, Illinois is even more of a train wreck. After a 7 - 7 tie at half time, and a 10 - 7 lead during Jump Around, the offense got going and pulled away.
Pictures:
The cold weather likely affected the student section. Most Students either didn't show up, or came way after kickoff.
Right before the self photo, some lady behind us offered to take the picture. I declined stating that the horrible self-photo was sort of my thing.
Scoreboard.

Badgers vs. UTEP
So Valerie picked this game because her first ever college football game was in El Paso. Before the season started, we assumed it would be an easy win for the Badgers. It wound up closer than it should have, but Stave looked good most of the time and Gordon looked like the running back I have been hyping for the past 13 months.

I am pretty sure the Badger statue hasn't made it into the Blog yet.

Badgers - Gophers Hoops
Another year, another trip to the Barn.
Badgers pulled away in Overtime after not scoring for what seems like 10 minutes at the end of the 2nd half.
Time for Pictures:
Got down to court side before the game and got to watch the Badgers warm up.

Badgers lining up for the Nation Anthem.

Bo Ryan!

Family Photo.

Hey everyone, where you going? There's still 30 seconds left in overtime.

Jordan Taylor sealing the win.

Easy Win! Never in Doubt!

Badgers Gophers Women's Hockey 2012
The family went to the U campus to another Women's hockey game. For some reason it was $1 night, which resulted in an extremely cheap night out.
Onto the pictures:
Family portrait.

We got seats on the glass (General Admission). Really fun to watch a game from this close.

Whomever this Goalie is, she is really good.

Unfortunately not good enough this night. Bucky lost 1 - 0.

B1G Championship Game
Had a great time at the inaugural B1G Championship Game in Indy.
Going to jump straight to the pictures.
Road Trip began in Chicago, with Drew at the wheel and Rick at Shotgun.

Northwest Indiana is extremely boring. Windmills are the only thing breaking up the flatness.

Pit Stop at the Steak n Shake.

Kevin and I rolling in the back.

The first of many "Drew stands next to something" shots: Flipping off the Vikes and Bears...

and a TV remote.

Tebow-mania stretching into Indy.

We are clearly what the B1G had in mind when they came up with "Honoring legends and Building Leaders"

The "news cast" bit may be great comedy or a complete train wreck. We will have to see when they email it to us.

Bean Bag Video Game? Kevin is clearly the class of our group. Drew the weakest.

Nice Eyebrows. (Red Eye kept for effect).

Drew next to....um....uh.... moving on.

Lucas Oil Stadium.

Drew on lawn tractor.

Pre-game get hyped circle. Watching the pre-game coverage at home the following Monday, I determined that all Aaron Henry did was yell "Hail Mary" for 5 minutes.

Pre-Game Band Performance.

View from Section 624.

Nice Shirt. Stay Classy.

Badger offense. Including Heisman finalist Monte Ball.

The game was a back an forth affair. Bucky with a 14 point lead in the 1st quarter. Sparty with a 8 point lead most of the 2nd and 3rd quarters and Wisconsin ultimately winning in the 4th quarter. After a completely justified running into the kicker penalty, Bucky was able to go into the Victory Formation.

Scoreboard and Streamers say it all.

Happy Fans.

Final Score. Never determined what the clock was counting down towards.

Final round of the night.
