The game was ours until we ran the prevent offense. Also should note that Hightower made so many bad calls in the 2nd half (hurt both teams), as I correctly predicted at half-time.
I went to my first Women's Hockey game with Elizabeth. Other than E's obsession with Goldy, it was pretty much a sucess. That and the fact that she started getting antsy and we left at 2 - 2 in the 3rd. As of this post I have no idea who won.
The only thing to comment on this game is that I am glad that the horrible call reversal on the fumble didn't cost Bucky the win. A 13-10 win that ended at 12:40am? I am way to old for that.
At 10:15am the power went out at our house. As a result, we watched the 1st half at BW-3 and then I watched the 2nd half at Old Chicago. Needless to say, I enjoyed the second half much more.
Power didn't come back until after 2:30 (after the game was over).
I am now 0 - 2 trying to tape the game during the live showing. Thankfully, the BTN airs each game 100 times.
Below are the pictures from the Badger - Gopher rematch which will be mostly remembered for the ice/snow storm that rolled in Sunday and Monday making the trip home a complete disaster. At least Bucky won.
Kevin and I picked up Babcock Ice Cream during half time so we missed the gymnastics and Varsity. These pictures were shot by Valerie.
For some reason, I always loved the "Big Flag" when I was in school and am glad they have kept this going.
We did not try to ask the people around us to take our picture. I am shocked all 3 of us are in frame.
The main scoreboard stopped showing the score when the game ended, so I had to shoot this to get the final score.
Valerie and I enjoyed another Badger victory over the Gophers. This time in Hoops. The now 8th ranked Badgers had no trouble cruising to a easy victory.
We got our typical upper deck 3rd to last row seats. At least we were not behind a pole or had a pipe next to our heads.
How many years in a row have I seen these stupid dogs?
The people to our left were Badger "fans" who kept needing a program to figure out who was who. I did not feel bad at all asking them to take our picture.
Bronson Tanner/Tanner Bronson sighting. He missed both free throws.
Our defense did bad enough to keep Minny in the game. I will have links to Ike getting punched in the privates and comments about Clint Brewster and his moronic comments in another post.
Onto the pictures:
That's a big flag.
We are actually losing to 1-10 Minnesota?
Another kicking screw up by the Gophers, I'm happier now.
After watching Bucky beat the Michigan, Kevin and I watched Illinois beat OSU at BW3 and then headed over to watch Wisconsin lose to the Racists (Sioux)
"W" (WWWHHHHAAAA)
Skating Bucky
Kevin looks like he may need a nap.
We lost.
Even though we lost, we did see the best save I have ever seen.
Week 10 update. Another road loss that I watched in HD on the Big Ten Network. Lets ignore that and get to the Michigan Pictures.
Ron Dayne!
The now classic take a picture of ourselves shot. Welcome to the Blog Kevin.
Look at the Michigan guy in the Oliver Twist hat. He did nothing specificly wrong to me, but the stupid hat irritated me to no end. This dude thought he was Tom Brady, by putting on that hat.
