Gophers vs. Badgers Women's Hockey

I went to my first Women's Hockey game with Elizabeth. Other than E's obsession with Goldy, it was pretty much a sucess. That and the fact that she started getting antsy and we left at 2 - 2 in the 3rd. As of this post I have no idea who won.

Badger - Gopher Hockey

The Badgers finally won a game that I attended at Mariucci.
Some tense momoents after going up 3 - 0 at the end of 2 and then holding on to win 3 - 2.

This is the earliest I have ever left a Badger game. Penn St. wound up scoring one more time.

Week 3 - Fresno State

The only thing to comment on this game is that I am glad that the horrible call reversal on the fumble didn't cost Bucky the win. A 13-10 win that ended at 12:40am? I am way to old for that.

Week 2 - Marshall

At 10:15am the power went out at our house. As a result, we watched the 1st half at BW-3 and then I watched the 2nd half at Old Chicago. Needless to say, I enjoyed the second half much more.

Power didn't come back until after 2:30 (after the game was over).

I am now 0 - 2 trying to tape the game during the live showing. Thankfully, the BTN airs each game 100 times.

2008 - Week 1 vs. Akron

I am happy Wisconsin won and their running backs looked really good. Not sure if the QB is going to hold us back, but we are 1-0.

Badger - Gopher Hockey

My streak of watching the Badgers lose at Mariucci continued this year. I am pretty sure I have never seen them win in that building.

I forgot my camera, but there are 2 camera phone pictures taken by my Gopher season ticket holder co-worker that he hasn't sent me yet.

UW vs. Minnesota at the Kohl Center

Below are the pictures from the Badger - Gopher rematch which will be mostly remembered for the ice/snow storm that rolled in Sunday and Monday making the trip home a complete disaster. At least Bucky won.

Kevin and I picked up Babcock Ice Cream during half time so we missed the gymnastics and Varsity. These pictures were shot by Valerie.





For some reason, I always loved the "Big Flag" when I was in school and am glad they have kept this going.




We did not try to ask the people around us to take our picture. I am shocked all 3 of us are in frame.




The main scoreboard stopped showing the score when the game ended, so I had to shoot this to get the final score.

Minnesota Hoops at the Barn

Valerie and I enjoyed another Badger victory over the Gophers. This time in Hoops. The now 8th ranked Badgers had no trouble cruising to a easy victory.

We got our typical upper deck 3rd to last row seats. At least we were not behind a pole or had a pipe next to our heads.

The people to our left were Badger "fans" who kept needing a program to figure out who was who. I did not feel bad at all asking them to take our picture.

Week 12

Our defense did bad enough to keep Minny in the game. I will have links to Ike getting punched in the privates and comments about Clint Brewster and his moronic comments in another post.

After watching Bucky beat the Michigan, Kevin and I watched Illinois beat OSU at BW3 and then headed over to watch Wisconsin lose to the Racists (Sioux)
