2013 B1G Tourney

Bucky had a great B1G Tourney Run.  Unfortunately they lost in the finals to Ohio State after beating both Michigan and Indiana.

View from our best seats all weekend.  Sat here for the 2nd half if the OSU game and the 1st half of the Michigan State game.  The drunk Spartan lady next to us got us kicked out at half time by being vulgar and getting security sent over.  Highlight of her nonsense: About Izzo: "I don't care if he's 4foot11.  I would still have his babies."

Saturday.  B1G Semi-Finals.  UW vs. Indiana and Ohio State vs. Michigan State

This wasn't a bad half-time act (Other than the time they used the smaller beam)

Great Win over Indiana.  Onto the finals.

Sunday.  B1G Championship.  UW vs. Ohio State

Bucky should have run over and punched Brutus in the face.

Over all a good game (and a great tourney).  Unfortunately too many misses at the end of the game.

Badgers - Gophers Hoops

This time the trip to the Barn ended up as an overtime loss.  Evans' inability to hit free throws, Trae's obsession with driving the lane and shooting poorly, and Bruiser's in bounds violatoin cost Bucky a win in regulation.

 Happy family before the tip.

Red Panda with an "entertaining" half time show.  So glad it has been years since we've seen the dogs running.

Worst sight of the night.  Evans trying to shoot free throws.

 Trea trying to defend A.Hollins.

We couldn't see the real scoreboard (only issue with our really good seats).  As a result, we used this TV for updates, including the out of focus final shot.

2013 Rose Bowl

So I wasn't expecting to go to the Rose Bowl.  Bucky was 8 - 5 and I had already seen Standford.  Then Bret quit and Barry stepped up to coach.  So I had to go.

Pictures and comments below:

Early morning Rose Bowl shot.

One of the better floats.  Like 2 years ago, many more float pictures on my hard drive.

Easily the weirdest mascot in the NCAA is the Stanford Tree.

Thank you Stub Hub.  Much better than the end zone seats (and slightly cheaper).

Updated Press Box / Luxury Boxes.

Another Rose Bowl, another Stealth Bomber photo.

After a hard fought game, Bucky was finally marching in the 4th quarter for the winning score.  Then Phillips (and not Stave) threw a pick.  And then we took our self photo.

 Darn it.

Badgers - Gophers Women's Hockey

Since we weren't in Indy for the B1G Football Championship (70 - 31 !!!) , the family went to the Women's Hockey game.

Unfortunately, the Gopher team is really good and easily beat Wisconsin.

Picture time:

Elizabeth making a sign.  They pulled the red markers so she was stuck with a orange and purple sign.

Whoa.  A bear.

Badgers vs. Ohio State

What a Game!  Other than losing in Overtime, it was a great time.  Montee Ball tied the all time TD record (and fumbled away the chance at the record).  The defense held Braxton Miller in check, and a TD with 8 seconds left sent the game to OT.

Your 2012 B1G Fantasy Football MVP Braxton Miller.  Fortunately great games by the Penn State WR and RB kept me from  needing Miller to do anything.

The people to the left of Knee-Man left.  They missed the thrilling comeback and overtime.
